Style, Subtlety, and Tact. Innocence Is Always Unexpected

In writing dramatic screenplays, we often have "The Fool Triumphant." This Innocent always plays the heavy. The Innocent has to do all the moral heavy lifting. In Comic Books, heroes are naive and act like virginal buffoons stumbling over their innocence in classically pathetic ways. This is where drama can be comic and grotesque

Although immunity is an illusion, these stories are always supposed to come with a moral ending. The antagonist or bad guy is usually a sociopath. Although the heel is embroiled in totally self-important emotional poverty, ideally good conquers evil, at least for a while. But usually, there's a little bad guy in all of us.

The unexpected moral virtue of these strange and often beautifully grotesque simpletons is innocence. The stranger does not use the courts or the authorities unless it is for collective good. Selfless and fool-hardy, the Innocent uses emotional leverage instead of hostility to neutralize opposition. Generally, our gentle heroes wander through life, losing everything, before getting it all back again with a lot of hard work. Yet they never know how hard what they are doing is. The Innocent always make the impossible look possible. And they are usually invisible, unknown, and changing with the random whims of fate or fortune.

Now that's drama. Melodrama, on the other hand, is when the villain thinks they are the hero and overacts. Preening and self-absorption is the domain of the bully. We have a classic heel in the White House.

Just Like Religions That Sometimes Need Reforming, There Are No Perfect Social Media Platforms

           Just like religions, or training technologies, there are no perfect social media platforms.    Our Online Social Media Revolution is a revolting Confusion of Tongues.

            Not only can words mean different things one keystroke at a time, but certain people are often right for very wrong reasons. One person’s anarchy is another person’s big business. There is a difference between the pretense of logical rhetoric and a mutually supportive dialog. There is also a big difference between making points, and pointed arguments designed to make yourself look important. Temperament is the “X” factor in this filtered data-glut we call social media. Our game is mutually interactive. Therefor personal responsibility falls to the participant. Vulnerability for the online offender is in their total dependence on the passive audience’s participation. Their self-serving logic and parsimoniousness are Broken Records, playing Mantras of Tyranny.

            However, we can choose to moderate, block, or simply not respond. The offender loses interest by wasting their words. The amount of energy wasted playing the perfect persecutee is inverse to the degree to which others can understand or empathize with said grievances. Without this commonality of a shared issue, the bully falls back on the prosecution of the disinterested. So much of what people put on the internet does not provide resources for action but merely reinforces alienation. I feel bad for those people who don’t recognize that this is an ongoing experiment.              Social Co-Chain Boundaries Define the Topologies of our Networks.  I agree with the healthy doubts that most liberal memes play on. My problem is with the mono-polar obsession with hating opposition. I not trying judge, I just don't want to be shamed anymore. I'm tired of the way most people are not self-reflective. I’ve more backbone, strength of character, and receptivity than most well-meaning liberals locked into social media. I’m no pollyanna, and I'm a troll. But I am a unifier, not a joiner. I’ll still make myself heard. But, what brought me here was my literary experiment in plumbing the MINDOB, the Mutually Inclusive Negative Double Opinion Biases of parapsychology, politics, and market surveillance algorithms, both pros and con artists. Turns out, people on both sides of these disposable fringe topic, are usually full of beans. The overwhelming similarities between psychics, politicians, Evangelists, and marketing surveillance algorithms are rich with veins of profound irony. "What do they all have in common? We all try to read your minds while taking your money."

               It’s become obvious my style of rational positivism clashes with the modern zeitgeist of apocalyptic fatalism. I do share our extreme concerns. I just feel people are replaying scripts designed to feed hate and paranoia. Sensationalistic news hyperlinks and Russian memes make it hard to know who’s pulling the strings. I'm going to continue using social media for news, but I’m not commenting as much anymore. Don’t give up the good fight people. Peace out.

My problem is with the monopolar obsession with hating the opposition. I don't judge, I just don't need to be shamed by anyone, anymore. I get tired of the way most men are not self-reflective. I’ve shown more backbone and strength of character by receptivity than almost all of the other well-meaning liberals locked into social media. I’m not a pollyanna or a troll.
