Variabilities of the Lines on the Hands.
Lines on the hands can be Indexed by discreet variabilities. Qualities are numbered, ordered by distinctions. I choose not to go back to check my notes, this rolls off my keyboard.
First are the Primary Deep Lines, often simple, few in number and usually short. {Life Line, and then the Heart Line and Head Line which may form only one undifferentiated single "Simian Crease," all the way across the hand under the fingers.} Signifies robust and passionate grounding and hard boundaries, often unemotional.
Second, we see more line structures that generally are slightly lighter, forming patterns or signs. {Such as the "Rings," "Bracelets," "Folds" and "Parallels" which can go all the way across, along or around the fingers, palms or wrists.} Signifies greater complexity of mental and emotional processing, possible longevity.
Third are multi layered markings that take on higher order, usually complicated, often confused. {Such markings are usually remembered by their associated symbol "Signature." Symbolism was mainly established for developing a memorable language, as in the "Mystic Cross," "Jacob's Ladder" and "The Eye of God." These can be deep or floating and can shift, change, grow in for the first time ever or even disappear all together.} Usually signify greater subjectivity of perspectives or sensitivity.
Fourth order forms are the markings that convey the most information stored in the persistent structures of these otherwise simple design programs. {Such are the most elegant signs and subtle multi processing loops significant of complex personal identity. Stars, Triangles, Grills, repeating wave parallels.} Exaggerated sensitivities are almost always nervous on some level or another. Often signifying unique abilities and or a type of wealth or another.
"The Law of Signatures" is a term borrowed from Herbalism referring to the way a plant is thought to best treat the organ system it most resembles. Like Hepatica has Liver shaped leaves, or Bleeding Heart flowers treat heart ache, etc. This mnemonic is often the attribution of association that survives long after the origin of a practice or superstition if forgotten.
