Waiting On The Gravity Of Truth

Documenting the evolution of truth and it's outward dissemination is the hardest thing I have ever tried to do. We are talking about personal biases, and the time it takes to ask important questions, patiently ready and waiting for the true answers. The truth may be known, but I really need help with my book keeping. Chasing down the "Truth" happens very slowly over a wireless modem. And there is a lot of disinformation out here to sort through and eliminate.

I live in a mixed bohemian community where there is some very popular paranoia. I don't know if my neighbors would be proactive if we were less paranoid, but conspiracy theories are very popular amongst the disenfranchised. There is more than enough fear in the world without being paranoid. And fear does seem to keep most of the disenfranchised quiet and harmlessly disempowered. Ironically, the same conspiracy theories hold equal appeal for people representing both of the opposing teams in political battles. (Mutually Inclusive Negative Double Opinion Biases/MINDOB) In the States we call them the; Liberals and Conservatives, or the Democrats and Republicans if you prefer. But the assumed conspiracies are not only equivalent in their proposed conspiratorial "Evil," (blaming the other side,) but also identical in their content. (Same mythic villains.) It's usually the fault of the Nazi Alien Illuminati. Or that mythic "Grove" of ultra rich people who are building underground cities to survive the latest genetically modified plague brought to you by the good folks at Procter and Gamble, just to wipe out the rest of humanity when they don't need us anymore to work in their factories. Seems pain points are still universally the same for everyone, in spite of who is inducing this latest wave of crippling mass hysteria. It's almost as if the net consequences of our collective complacency is the inevitability of us becoming target victims. We couldn't do anything against the man, so now the man is supposedly coming to get each and every one of us personally. I was warned.

In documenting the dissemination of truthful news, a competent if satirical Free Press may be our best defense. If this were a different time, I would have to eat my words. "But here "In The States," right now, there has been no one single boogyman." "We have no need to have a shared enemy, I can just go back to being complacent, blaming everything on the neighbors or on the foreigners." "I think that everything will work out just fine." "Besides, What can I do about the real victims of corrupt international business politics?" (That's a good question. I want to find the right answer.)

Complacency may in fact be much more dangerous and seductive than any fear mongering. COMPLACENCY ITSELF MAY BE MORE TOXIC THAN PARANOIA! Regardless of how silly common prejudices often really are, the popular fears of group thinking creates a need for a dialog. And just like good myth busting in general, we may get from the contentious dialogs between the pro's and the con's, to a working possible solution to the real problems of today.

The dissemination of information is a vector, directed from a point of departure, to an intended destination or objective. The lobbyists here in the United States are perpetrating real evil censorship by buying votes in congress. We are seeing much more about controlled mass marketing and media than we do the suffering global world society. What's a journalist to do?
